While a few prominent brands have occasionally patched missing DRM levels after launch through complex bootloader updates, these instances are rare exceptions. Before purchasing a low-cost device, media enthusiasts should always verify whether the handset supports the necessary security certifications to stream Netflix in Full HD straight out of the box.
